Swordfishing

The Florida Keys has become one of the best spots to Swordfish in the world. We can target them at night, or even during the day. We offer a great offshore day charter & Swordfish combo trip, allowing us to target Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna, and Swordfish. The Islamorada Swordfish are caught in the deep canyons in waters of 1500 to 2000 feet deep, which are some 30 miles offshore. During the day  is one of the most awesome times to catch a Sword. On the trip out Captain Sam and anglers are in our custom tower and we scan the water looking for birds, a floating piece of debris, or a weed line .We will then have anglers cast some live baits with 20lb spin cast reels into these birds or to the floating debris. The weed lines will be trolled with lures as these areas can hold large amounts of dolphin. Often times these trips will return us to the dock with a mixed bag of Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and a Swordfish.
